Investment philosophy

We manage what we can control.

Evidence-based, low-cost portfolio construction. We build globally diversified portfolios using low-cost vehicles and the academic evidence on long-term returns. No hot funds, no themes of the quarter.

Tax-aware implementation. Asset location across taxable, tax-deferred, and Roth accounts is where most of the real alpha lives. We sequence contributions, withdrawals, and rebalancing accordingly.

We don't pick stocks, time markets, or chase products. Costs, taxes, behavior, and discipline — that's the controllable list. We work the controllable list, repeatedly.
